Glaucoma Screening

Glaucoma Screening is performed by an eye doctor or Ophthalmologist using tonometry, which measures the pressure within the eye. During this process, first, eye drops are used to numb the eye, and then a tonometer is used to measure the inner pressure of the eye. Furthermore, a small amount of pressure is applied to the eye using a tiny specialised device or a warm puff of air.

Please chat to the Optometrist at Haus Optika if you would like a referral to our partner Ophthalmologist, Dr. Zoran Aleksic. You can also learn more about this eye disease by visiting the Glaucoma page on his website.
